Finding Affordable Beauty Salon Furniture

Now that you know the basics of the salon trade, you are planning to set up your own business. But you still need to find affordable manicure tables, salon chairs, salon stations and other beauty salon furniture. As you are just setting up your business, you cannot afford to spend too much money on the project and you want to make sure that you are getting quality at the lowest price. So what do you do?

Finding affordable beauty salon furniture is easy if you know where to look. We do have a few places you can start with but make sure you research these options properly before you make a purchase.
Trade directories - The internet has made the world a smaller place and you will find manufacturing companies located halfway across the world willing to sell you beauty salon furniture at affordable rates. This may seem like the best and cheapest option but we do advise you to first check shipping and delivery options. As the goods are going to come by shipping, there is a very good chance that you will be paying much more for shipping than the actual furniture. However, not all companies are the same and you might get really good deals if you are careful.

Craigslist -- This is the most popular option for cheap and affordable furniture. We recommend that you try local Craigslist as you will be able to find salons that are upgrading their furniture and getting rid of older models. You can also visit these salons and check out the quality and condition of the furniture being offered for sale. This is an affordable option as you get used goods that are in good condition and they are located close to your home; so transporting them is cheaper as well.
Newspapers and magazines -- Local magazines and newspapers will always have advertisements for salons that are moving, going out of business or generally upgrading their furniture after a renovation. Get in tough with such companies and strike a deal for the furniture that you want.

Salvage yard and scrap yards -- We don't really recommend getting your furniture from a salvage yard but its really up to you. Take a look at the local furniture being offered and make an informed decision. Yes, there is a very good chance that you will get a really good deal but the deal is as-is. That means you get what you pay for and there is no warranty or chance of returning the goods if you are dissatisfied with them.

The best option would be to buy brand new but affordable manicure tables, salon chairs, salon stations and affordable furniture from a local store. Buying new means you get quality, durability, longer life and a warranty that will cover any damage and repairs for one year.
